Round Timer for BJJ, MMA & Muay Thai
Set your rounds, round length and rest. It beeps at every change, so the phone can stay on the wall.

How to use the round timer
Pick a preset or set your own rounds, round length and rest, then press Start. The timer counts down each round, switches to rest, and starts the next round on its own. The last round ends with a final buzzer — there's no rest tacked on after it.
The optional 10-second warning gives a double beep near the end of every round, the cue to push the pace or finish the position. The sounds are generated in your browser, so there is nothing to download. Browsers only allow sound after you tap something, which is why the first beep plays when you press Start.
While it runs, the timer asks your device to keep the screen awake where the browser supports it. For dependable beeps, leave the page open with the screen on — some phones pause web pages in the background. On a laptop or TV, use the full-screen button for a clock you can read from across the mat.
Questions
Round timer FAQ
How long is a round in BJJ sparring?
There's no single standard. Many gyms roll for 5 or 6 minutes with about a minute of rest, close to competition match lengths. Shorter, harder rounds are common for conditioning.
How long are MMA and Muay Thai rounds?
Professional MMA rounds are usually 5 minutes with 1 minute of rest. Muay Thai fights are commonly 5 rounds of 3 minutes with 2 minutes of rest. Amateur bouts and training rounds are often shorter.
Why didn't I hear a beep?
Browsers block sound until you interact with the page, so the timer turns audio on when you press Start. Check that the sound button is on and your phone isn't on silent. Some phones pause web pages in the background, so keep the timer open on screen.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It's free and there's no sign-up. The timer runs entirely in your browser.
