Coach Code of Conduct

Professional boundaries

• Maintain appropriate physical and emotional boundaries with all athletes.
• No romantic, sexual, or other intimate relationships with any minor athlete — under any circumstances.
• Avoid isolated one-on-one situations with minor athletes without parent presence or visibility.
• Avoid private communication channels with minor athletes. Use parent-visible threads or gym-mediated channels.

Reporting

If you witness or suspect exploitation, abuse, or any safety concern involving any athlete, report it to your gym AND to CombatScore at /safety/report.

Honest representation

• Represent your rank, certifications, and experience honestly.
• Acknowledge that CombatScore does not vet your qualifications — your gym is responsible for that.

Consequences of violation

• Permanent ban from CombatScore.
• Notification to your affiliated gym(s).
• Voluntary reporting to law enforcement where applicable.
• Voluntary reporting to NCMEC where applicable.

Acknowledgment

By acknowledging this Code, you confirm that:

• Your gym is responsible for background checks and ongoing supervision.
• You will represent your identity and qualifications honestly.
• You understand that violations may result in immediate termination of platform access and reports to authorities or relevant organizations.
