Your data rights

You own your data. CombatScore gives every account the same controls regardless of where you live — we operate to the most protective standard available, not the minimum required.

Export your data

Settings → Account → Export my data. You'll get a ZIP within a few minutes with:

• All your sessions, rest days, promotions, ratings.
• Your profile + bio + photos.
• Coach feedback you've received.
• Billing records (charges, refunds, invoices).
• Notification history.

JSON format, importable by you into anything you like.

Delete your account

Settings → Account → Delete account.

Two stages:

1. Soft delete (immediate). Your profile vanishes from the platform. You're logged out. Your gym sees "account closed" where you used to be.
2. Hard delete (30 days). Your row is purged from the primary tables. After this, recovery is not possible.

During the 30-day grace period you can email support@combatscore.app to restore. After day 30, the data is gone.

What we cannot delete

• Financial records — required by tax law, retained 7 years (anonymized link to your account).
• Coach feedback you wrote — stays on the athlete's record; your name is replaced with "former coach."
• Aggregate analytics — already anonymized; doesn't contain you specifically.

These exceptions match GDPR Article 17(3)(b) and equivalent CCPA carve-outs.

Correct your data

For things you can't edit yourself (e.g. a gym entered something wrong about you), email support@combatscore.app with the request. We forward it to the gym or correct it directly depending on what it is.

Opt out of AI training

CombatScore does NOT use your data to train AI models. We use AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) under enterprise terms that explicitly forbid them from training on our customers' data either. No opt-out is necessary because there's nothing to opt out of.

Opt out of marketing

CombatScore doesn't run a marketing email list. Most of what we send is transactional — billing, family events, account security — and always sends. The rest is training encouragement: milestone and promotion emails, and streak reminders. Those two carry an unsubscribe link, and you can also switch them off under Settings → Notifications.

Opt out of analytics

Settings → Privacy → Anonymized analytics — toggle off. We default to "on" because anonymized usage data helps us improve the product, but it's never required.

Managed kids

If you manage a child's account, you exercise these rights on their behalf. See Deleting a child's data for the COPPA-specific flow.

We respond within 5 business days for non-deletion requests; deletion is processed immediately.
